Day 24:
Two of the most amazing people I know sent me a 'Happy New Years' Card today. I was giddy just seeing their names on the envelope knowing what was in store. These two wonderful people are my beloved President and Sister Spackman, my first Mission President and his wife. I have been so blessed to have known them. Sister Spackman reminded me so much of my mom while I was on my mission (fun, beautiful and a little wacky - fantastically wacky) and President Spackman was so much like my dad I had to take a double glance once and a while to make sure he wasn't! No wonder they have such a beautiful marriage and are such wonderful people - they remind me of my parents!
So thank you two spectacular people, for loving me, challenging me to be courageous, and serving selflessly!
